London: Oxford University Press, 1930 First edition in English. Previous owner's name, else a fine fresh copy in price clipped dust wrapper, slightly toned and with minimal rubbing.

Cambridge (MA): Harvard University Press, 1937. First Edition. Top Edge Gilt; offsetting to front and rear pastdown and endpapers, as well as to half-title page, otherwise a very fine copy in bright red boards and crisp gilt titles in a very nearly fine dust wrapper with slight dust soiling.

Oxford: Oxford at the Clarendon Press, 1964. Later Printing. A fine copy in dust wrapper with little spine toning but is otherwise fine.

Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 1984. First Edition. A fine copy in fine dust wrapper.

Dust wrapper has a diamond shape cut out of the spine (why?), one other chip, a tiny edge tear and very slight rubbing to the top spine. Otherwise near fine.

Providence (RI): Brown University Press, 1957. First Edition. Friedrich's writings on law and constitutionalism made him one of the world's leading political scientists in the post-World War II period, and he is one of the most influential scholars of totalitarianism. Slight to toning to endpapers, still easily fine in fine dust wrapper.

Oxford: Oxford at the Clarendon Press, 1969. Later Printing. 1972 winner of Nobel Prize. Slight mottling to front board, otherwise an unusally nice, square copy. About fine in like dust wrapper (spine ever so slightly faded, area of slight darkening, trifling edgewear).
