In volume 1 it's most noticeable. Same volumes have lacks of marbled paper on front and back boards. This famous Glazunov edition of the complete works of Ivan S. Turgenev, printed on high-quality paper, was published in 1883, the year of the writer's death.
The first complete edition of Turgenev's collected works was issued by the publishing house of I. Glazunov in 1883, the year of the writer's death. Only six months later, in the spring of 1884, a second edition had to be printed because the first printing had already sold out. The complete set is very beautiful and rare. At the beginning of the first volume is a portrait of Turgenev engraved on steel at the artistic establishment of F. A. Brockhaus in Leipzig. Also included are facsimiles of his autograph and a letter.
