- When did you get started in bookselling?
- We started buying books 3 years ago 2019, then we just started selling books this year 2024.
- What drew you to bookselling?
- I like finding books. you can fin them all over the place. Peoples houses to thrift stores.
- Did you have any mentors in becoming a bookseller?
- yes I have 2 both of them have been selling for years and they are two people who love books
- What are your specialties as a dealer?
- I am focusing on books that are in good to fair shape. books of all types. Looking for books about things and stories
- What's the most amazing book you've ever sold?
- I know this might not sound amazing. but i brought in 6,000 books before I even sold one book. but then when I did sell one. the first book I sold was a bible = colour blue.
- What is your favorite part of being a bookseller?
- I am a neat freak soo I would say seeing a box of messy books and turning them into a neat and organized pile
- Do you have an open storefront or have you in the past?
- yes we will have a store front where and what size is to be un decided at this time.
- If so, do/did you have any bookstore pets?
- nope - no pets - I like animals - but not a this stage in life. too many kids too many books
- What is the funniest / strangest / scariest thing that ever happened in your store?
- I drove 2 hrs. down this dirt road be hind this guy who we met at agas station to pick up books from his house.
- What is your favorite bookshop (other than your own)?
- Wee book inn -- in Edomonton ab or Mossaic books in Kelowna
- What do you personally like to read? Collect?
- 'sBook about how to build things - or nature survival I like hatchet - alone in the wilderness - or books about how to build your own tent trailer from the 70's
- What's your favorite book you personally own? Would you sell it, if the price were right?
