Front board is warped up about 2". 20th Century book plate on the front paste down over an area where an apparent earlier book plate has been cut out. Two pages loose but present. Interior is clean and unmarked. Trojan War. Very scarce in the edition of 1570.

The author is noted as the historian for the Stonewall Jackson Chapter of New Orleans, No. 1135 U.D.C. (1909-1911). The binding is in good solid condition, but has a small water stain on the upper right hand front corner and a large water stain on the lower right hand front corner. These water stains continue through out the text block of the book and are fairly light. Otherwise, internally, the book is clean.
