All four books have wear to head and tail of spine with a bit of missing material (a few mm in most cases). Volume 3 is missing approximately 1 sq. cm of material at base of spine. Volume 2 has crack to leather along entire front spine joint, as well as horizontal crack about 1/3 way up. All books have a bit of edge wear with some bumping to lower edges and wear to corners. A few scratches to surfaces. Each book has an artistic bookplate from the previous owner on the front paste down.
