Top of spine has a chip As well as the bottom with the top being about a quarter of an inch and the bottom being about an 8th of an inch to a millimeter. Book was kept well with minimal dust covers are in good cosmetic shape with color. Everything is original. Presumed owner's name stamped on bottom of title page Victor Wilbour, Possibly born around the same time in New York,  Victor Hugo Wilbour 1862-1931. Unconfirmed but gravestone font matches stamp font.

An interesting book signed by the author and contains a personal message to senator Nicholas Palladino of Connecticut. Dated 1943. In overall good condition with a complete dust jact it and no structural issues. The dust jacket does have one line of tape on it which was done very well. First Edition . Good. Children's Poetry By The Author Of "John Halifax, Gentleman" 1881 First Edition. Pages 113-128 are detached from top 2/3 of binding. Some small rips or tears in 3 pages pictured. Complete in original red cloth with gilt floral designs. Spine has a few chips. Binding is overall fair to good, with most pages being attached well; however there is a slight amount of looseness in the pages. Paper on back hinge is cracked but the actual cloth hinges are still good. A hard to find book of original poetry by Dinah Craik, who was a prominent female novelist and poet in the mid to late 1800s. She also was an early supporter of the idea of independent women being able to access greater opportunities to support themselves and others. Good. An interesting magic booklet that I am not sure what to make of. While it was clearly sold in a magic shop, it has the signature of the publisher nelmar on the bottom left.It's also simply stapled and has a list of additions at the end. My best guess would be that the magic shop acquired this unique item and sold it as a sort of cool connection to vintage magic. Paper is normal 8 and a half by 11 and contains 20 feature tricks which are illustrated.
