Illustrated by Aboriginal artists. Author’s signed and inscribed presentation copy to Duncan Kentish who provided the photograph of ‘The Crossing of the Red Sea’ by Walmajarri artist Jarinyaru. Loosely included is a 2 page letter from Father O’Donovan to Kentish. A near fine copy.

(England: The Daily Express: no date) Quarter cloth pictorial boards (that is, hard covers) pp. 16 (222 x 170 mm). Illustrated by JH. Gift inscription dated 1932 on front free endpaper. Head and foot of spine and corners and edges of boards worn with a small nick to the upper external hinge; cloth spine a little mottled and scuffed; some pop-ups have clear tape reinforcements to their blind sides, all except the letter ‘Q’ are complete and in good working order; the ‘Q’ pop-up lacks only its capital letter; in all, internally a very good copy.
