A 'morning-room,' or 'drawing-room' play, initially performed to entertain party guests, includes witty, comedic plots centring genteel and aristocratic characters. This play, like the title suggests, ends with Mrs. Bennett gazing toward the heavens in gratitude for the marriage of her three daughters (before pleading for suitors for the two remaining).

A vintage set of Pan paperbacks in the collectable 'Still Life' series with wraparound photographic cover art. Various printings (no first impressions were issued in these covers). No ink names or stamps. Cheap paper toned as expected, covers with acceptable wear, some reading creases to spines, some rubbing and sunning. Very good. Thirteen of the fourteen original James Bond books were issued in this series; 'Live and Let Die' being issued exclusively in film tie-in covers throughout this period, to promote the 1973 movie.
