Book is Near Fine. Glossy black stipple design binding is very attractive; tight, clean & square w/ trace of rubbing & v. minor corner bumps (approx. 1/4""). NO frays, sun, scuffs, etc. All gold spine lettering & decoration crisp & intact. Inkstamp ""Service De Presse"" at top of half-title page. Text tight, clean, UNmarked w/ maybe just a hint of toning. Brown pebble-grain cloth binding, covers w/ beveled edges, all edges of text block gilt (though dulled), sewn text block. Binding square w/ bit of soil, rubbing & edge wear. Minor fray at ends of spine & cover corners. NO sun discolor. Blind-stamped ""HB"" logo on covers & all gold spine lettering/ flower decoration crisp & intact.
