Rare volume of this work by Winston S. Churchill. Only 1400 copies printed in the US that includes three states. This is the third and final state, which is identified on the title page listing the publisher as "George H. Doran Company, New York."
Red binding with slight fading and some bumps to edges, but no tears (see images). Gold gilding on spine. This work does not have a dust jacket. Deckled edges. Some foxing present in the work. The frontispiece is the image of Churchill with the famous rhinoceros. The name of the previous author is on the front endpaper and reads, "Henry Asher Jackson; May 24th, 1909." There are no other annotations in the work. The binding and pages are tight.

Two blemishes on front endpaper and back endpaper, most likely from tape holding on a past book protector of which it now is only the dust jacket (see images). In the front, the number 59 is written (see same image). Otherwise, no annotations in the volume. Some foxing on top book edge only. No foxing on pages.
