Gaige, theater producer, publisher, and founder of Watch Hill Press, where Rogers had worked as a book designer alongside Gaige and Frederic Warde.

Interior toned with some soiling and dampstaining, previous owner's pencil marginalia at rear, being the lyrics to the popular temperance song, "Come Home, Father," (Henry Clay Work), in which a child longs for her absent father to stop drinking and return home.
