Significant staining to the fore-edge of the rear cover and some semicircular toning to the front edge of most leaves growing more pronounced further in the book. Otherwise a solid, clean copy. "Its disorganization notwithstanding, these recollections by a colonel of the 61st Virginia possess some usefulness in analyzing Lee's 1964-1865 campaigns" Nevins I, p. 163.
