The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher is the collectable story by Beatrix Potter about a frog who fishes for minnows so he can host a dinner party for his friends. Marked as Copyright 1906, but according to the web, "Publisher's address given as 26 East 22d Street, making this edition no earlier than 1920." Brown cloth cover boards, silver imprint, cover illustration, illustrated end papers. Good condition overall: very nice cover,very light but widespread staining of pages (see photos). Dust jacket in acceptable condition; previous bookseller penciled comment notes that DJ could possibly be from a later edition.

Jay & Company, 3" thick, 9 .5" wide, 11.5" high; 22 pp. of text and surprise parts, all intact and included.Near FINE/MINT condition, museum-quality example of this 1942 play book/set. Never played with, complete, including original publisher's box (in lesser condition; see below). This First edition Treasure Book is in near mint condition with no missing pieces. See photos. Last documented sale of item in this condition was $950.
The net on the cover is intact with no damage of any kind. All the original pieces are there, including the treasure map, net bag of jewels, the invitation, the fish, the flag, the black spot, the apples. All movables work and are in perfect condition.
