The first edition of the work. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Written by English crime fiction author Liza Cody. This work is part of Cody's 'Anne Lee' series that follows the story of a policewomen turned detective as she endeavours to solve many puzzling crimes. In this work, Anne Lee is called to investigate the death of Dierdre Jackson, whose parents think the race car crash that killed her is more than just an accident. Advertisements for 'Collins Crime Club' to the rear of the dust wrapper. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with only a slight lean and creasing to the spine. The wrap is very smart with the odd minor closed tear, light rubbing and creasing to the extremities, minor handling marks to the rear and minor marks to the front. Evidence of tape reinforcement and very light spotting to the verso. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages. Near Fine
