A bright first edition of this account of Belgium, beautifully explored through numerous watercolours. An undated copy, dated from Jisc 1908, the first and only edition of this work. Comprising an account of Liege and the Ardennes in Belgium, explored through some extremely charming watercolours by Amédée Forestier, known for his landscapes, accompanied with descriptions by George W T Omond. With historical sketches of the area and descriptions. Illustrated with twenty full page coloured plates. Collated, complete. Including advertisements to the rear. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely with only minor shelf wear, and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. With a minor light foxing scattered throughout to the margins, particularly affecting the first and last few leaves. Illustrated with twenty full page coloured plates. Collated, complete.  Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
