A detailed account of the author's own journey through England and Wales by motor, with chapters on Windsor Forest, Cirencester, Welsh boulevards, Bangor, mineral spas, and the Great North Road. Written by James John Hissey, an British farmer and landowner. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. Minor fraying to the edges of the boards. Light fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Much of the text block remains unopened. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
