A detailed guide to the importance of the Lord's Supper, as instituted by Jesus to commemorate his death, symbolize the New Covenant, provide fellowship, and anticipate the Messiah's return. Also known as the Holy Communion or Eucharist. With a short biographical sketch of the author and portrait frontispiece. Written by Reverend Thomas Wilson, Bishop of Sodor and Man between 1697 and 1755. Bound in full calf binding. Externally, smart with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Minor loss to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Good
