8º. 6 complete volumes: 455 pp., 436 pp., 454 pp., 468 pp., 453 pp., 422 pp. Publisher's hardcover binding with a beautiful and shiny gold cover, fully decorated in gold on red cloth; gilt top edge, black paper endpapers. Each volume with a different frontispiece; slight minimal traces of moisture on volume I; missing pages 97-98 in volume III; the rest in excellent condition. Texts in English.
This set is the third part of "The D'Artagnan Romances," which in turn is part of the collection "The Romances of Alexandre Dumas," published by Little Brown and Co. during the 19th century.
"The Viscount of Bragelonne" was originally published in 1847. It is the third and final part of the D'Artagnan novels, also known as the Musketeers Trilogy.
The novel begins in the year 1660, ten years after the events of "Twenty Years After."
