Superstar Russian ballet dancer (1938-1993), one of the greatest of the 20th century.
Large size, original poster signed by him. Poster is from the time after his 1961 defection from Russia, and before he had representation and important ballet companies supporting him. Size is 36 x 48.75 inches, it is mounted on hard cardboard and can not be rolled.
Poster is signed and inscribed with a short sentiment over one of his legs, in felt tip pen, lighter ink but clearly visible, in good condition.

Autograph letter with his letterhead written in German, with his clear and bold signature on verso, dated in 1932, to Paul Epstein discussing his new study group of Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles.
Freud expresses that "Analysis certain needs fellowship and the exchange of ideas", and is happy with the fact that Epstein (who was an enthusiastic supporter of psychoanalysis) founded the Psychoanalytic Study Group in Los Angeles.
Size is 5.6 x 9 inches, 1 sheet (written on both sides), central fold, minor crack over the upper border, otherwise in excellent condition.

Description:
Stage name of Carlo M. Michelangelo Nicola Broschi (1705-1782), probably the most celebrated Italian castrato singer of the 18th Century and considered one of the greatest singers in opera history.
Exceedingly rare legal document, related to the building of a house for him in Madrid, where he lived for over 20 years. The year of 1749 is printed at the top. Document is written by another hand, and signed at the bottom by Farinelli in full name, in a somewhat darker ink. One page of hand-laid paper, 7.9 x 8.4 inches, central fold, spotted rust stains, otherwise in excellent condition.
Autographs of Farinelli as extremely rare and only show up in the market every few years, this one is important and also has a very clear signature.
ALSO INCLUDED is a nice vintage print with his image, a lithograph by Richard Bentley, London. Size is 5.25 x 8.5 inches, some stains on borders and small paper loss on the bottom right corner, otherwise in very good condition.

Signatures of all 4 members, in clips from autograph album pages, matted together with a nice photograph of the band. Total size is 15.5 x 19.75 inches, George Harrison and John Lennon´s signatures are in a window that is 6.25 x 4.5 inches (opening size), Paul McCartney´s signature is 4 x 1.6 inches while Ringo Starr´s signature is 4 x 2 inches.
Matted with a photograph of all 4 as a band, a modern print (not vintage), all in very good condition.

Description:
Fantastic printed music score for voice and piano for this opera in full signed on the opposite to the title page by Puccini and Evan Gorga, the first Rodolfo. Gorga wrote a long sentiment and signed this at a very old age to an Italian opera fan and collector, dating his autograph in 1952. Puccini signed and dated his autograph apparently in 1903 (the exact number is hard to read) in Torre del Lago.
Cesira Ferrani signed on page 70, at the beginning of her most famous aria, "Mi Chiamanó Mimi".
Both Gorga and Ferrani were the creators of the Rodolfo and Mimi roles in the world premiere of this opera, in 1896.
This is an early edition of this score, published in 1898 by Giulio Ricordi, 277 numbered pages, nice light teal-colored hardcovers with golden designs on front and verso, spine is in good condition with some professional repairs on corners, spotted rust on some of the first pages, 8.25 x 11 inches, in overall very good condition.

Russian ballet dancer (1890-1950) and choreographer, probably the most celebrated male dancer in the entire history of dance.
Original front cover of the magazine "L´Illustration", published in Paris on May 22nd, 1909, right after his debut in Paris at age of only 19!. Nijinsky caused quite an impression in the Parisian public, and this publication calls him "The French Vestris" (referring to famous French dancer Auguste Vestris (1760-1842)) on the front cover.
Boldly signed by Nijinsky in diagonal, in black ink, across the lower right corner and next to his image dancing in the ballet "Le Pavillion D´Armide" (Fokine, with music by Nikolai Tcherepin, world-premiered in St. Petersburg, 1907), presented in Paris for the first time in May 1909 by the Sergei Diaghilev company, with very young Nijinsky.
This is an exceedingly rare item from a crucial moment in young Nijinsky´s career, now starting outside Russia, on tour.

Description:
Star Italian composer of operas (1792-1868), of which he created 39, including Il Barbiere di Siviglia and famous Italian tenor (1790-1864).
Double signed aria score for piano and voice, a cavatina for the role of Ricciardo from "Ricciardo e Zoraide", opera by Rossini. This opera was world premiered in 1818 with Giovanni David creating the role of Ricciardo.
Signed by the composer and the role creator on the first page of the score, an engraving print of 6 pages, with both signatures on the first page. Rossini dated his signature in Paris in 1864, both men inscribed this to Minelli - obviously, Rossini´s friend called Napoleone Minelli, an opera fan.
First page also bears a couple of blind stamps by a previous owner (Giuseppe Galli) and an ink stamp, in light blue color, illegible. Neither of them affect the signatures. Soft cardboard covers probably added later (see last scan), total size is 13.6 x 9.75 inches, minor rust stains, all in excellent condition.

Fantastic, larger size mat with an original photo of him, signed by him, mounted on a larger black mat to a total size of 10 x 13.1 inches. The actual photograph is 5.7 x 6.9 inches, blind-stamped (metal stamp with no ink) on the front by photographer C. Mea, with text in both Chinese and Western characters.
