First trade edition, following the signed limited publication of 300 copies. 2.50 price to dust jacket, EH code and date of 1936 to copyright and title pages. Dust jacket is unfortunately tape repaired at spine, with a few tape marks present across spine and at spine edge of rear panel, though this presentation is rather concealed by age darkening and only faintly visible in mylar. AIGA Book Clinic Honor sticker to front panel, as the book was awarded for its iconic George Salter designed dust jacket upon publication in November 1936. The spine of dust jacket is heavily toned, chipping across all edges of panels, creasing to front panel at spine and rubbing and scratch marks to rear panel. 8vo, stamped red cloth with black titles, 351pp. The true First American Edition, which is by a publishing anomaly the Book Club Edition, issued in an unpriced dust jacket with the date of 1945 to title page and 1944,1945 listed to copyright statement. Dust jacket in uncommonly vibrant shape with only a very slight nick to front flap edge of front panel, light wear to edges and toning to rear panel, and a faint spot of discoloration to lower corner of rear flap and panel. Firmly bound with clean text. A wonderful copy in mylar.

8vo, softcover stitched in publisher's signature blue wrappers, uncut pages, 318pp. Stated fifth printing, January 1939. Wrappers creased at corners, closed tears to top and bottom edges of spine, creasing to spine and to outer edge of rear wrapper. Pages internally clean though age toned, brittle with fragile binding. A nice example of the original Paris edition of Miller's famously expurgated work, preserved in shrink wraps.

Unclipped dust jacket (12s 6d) Endpapers rubbed from paper impression, dust jacket shows a closed tear to front panel at spine and mild loss to top edge with a few nicks to bottom edge. Unclipped dust jacket (2.75) shows minimal shelf wear to edges, quarter loss to rear panel at spine edge, light toning and rubbing to panels and folds. Binding firm with clean text. Welty's full fledged novelistic debut, and often considered her best. A storied, polyphonic novel of family generations on the Mississippi Delta. A nice copy in mylar.

Firmly bound with clean text. A handsome copy of the scarce first printing of the definitive Thomas anthology.

Boards slightly curled inwards from a resulting water incursion, thus pages show a light ripple. Unclipped dust jacket (2.00) shows mild rubbing to panels and some loss to front panel at lower corner. Firmly bound with clean text. This volume contains the first publication of Thomas's most famous poem "Do Not Go Gentle Into that Good Night", along with five other poems. A handsome copy less defects, preserved in mylar.

The first state of the second 'bootleg' edition of the author's first book, published by The Fortune Press in 1942. Title page states 'Fortune Press, London S.W.1', copyright states First Published in 1934, no mention of Knole Park Press printing. Mild rubbing to edges and panels of dust jacket, light bumping to edges of cloth. A handsome copy in mylar.

The scarce First American Edition and first Sartre title to be published in the United States. Firmly bound, sharp and square. A handsome copy in mylar.

Dust jacket is unclipped (2.00) showing considerable fading to spine with a quarter loss to top edge. Spine is somewhat slanted and there is a discreet ex libris bookplate to rear endpaper. Else clean and unmarked with sound binding. A handsome copy in mylar.

Very good in cream white buckram cloth with black and tobacco colored embossment and titles, pictorial road map endpapers, orange topstain. 'Published by the Viking Press, 1962' to copyright page, no printings listed. Lower corner to front board is bumped and slightly faded around edge, else contents clean, binding sharp. Dust jacket is heavily sunned and rubbed with a closed tear to front panel and chipping and loss around spine, yet is unclipped (4.95). Altogether a serviceable copy, handsomely preserved in mylar.

Second printing, April 1920. Very good in original publisher's black cloth, embossed title to front board and gilt lettering at spine. Endpapers show some rubbing and toning; faint dampstain to lower edge of textblock. Lower corners are bumped at both spine and page edges; showing very slight fraying. Binding tight though slightly off from square condition, else contents crisp and clean. Scarce.
