Rare books from The Bookworm Bookstore

This vintage volume of Gone With the Wind is from the second printing of the first edition. There is no dust jacket and it remains as a hardcover, original gray cloth. Mitchell's classic was first printed in May and the first two printings are both uncommon and collectible. There is also the inscription of a former owner on the front inside cover. The book is otherwise unmarked.

This unique and limited edition book is in excellent condition. It is hardcover with a nice dust jacket. The dust jacket has a couple of small tears and is otherwise in mint condition. Several pages in full color, some showing rare collectibles. The names of former owners are inscribed in the front of the book.

Julia Child introduces sixteen of America's talented chefs from different parts of the country and interprets their recipes for the home cook. With the help of more than eighty color photographs we see the chefs at work in home kitchens and we learn the individual techniques that make their signature dishes so delicious -- and so workable.

This hard to find vintage paperback is in decent but delicate condition and so we usually keep it protected in plastic and that is how it would be mailed to the buyer. However, it is 100% in tact and there are no loose pages or markings. The spine is a little frayed at the top (see picture).

Fourth book of the Mars series. Bleiler, Science-Fiction: The Early Years 307. Edge of pages are slightly rough, minor yellowing on some pages. Dust cover has several rips and tears along the bottom and top, along with some minor damage to the spine of the cover, but the book itself is in good condition.
