Publishers binding c.9.1/4 x 12.1/2 inches. Coloured 1/2 title and title page plus 24 full page coloured plates by F.D.Bedford all in very good condition. Slight wear to edges and corners and slight soiling to covers. Front end-paper creased o/w a very good tight copy internally excellent. Scarce in this condition for a first edition published in 1899.

All original binding and decorated end-papers. Overall size c.10.1/4 x 13. inches. (26 x 32.5 cm.) 14 full page coloured lithographs by the author each opposite a text page. Published by Fritz Gurlitt and printed by Otto v. Holton on jap vellum in a deluxe edition of 750. This copy being number 155/500 copies for sale. Profusely Illustrated including an original woodcut by Max Pechstein who also supplied the woodcuts for the covers, end-papers and calendar. Original lithograph frontispiece and an original etching self-portrait by Lovis Corinth not issued in the trade edition. Binding slightly rubbed o/w a very good copy.

Printed at the Ballantyne Press for the Vale Press on Arnolds unbleached hand-made paper. 38 pages, Overall size c. 9.1.4 x 5.1/2 inches, illustrated with 5 wood-engravings by T.S.Moore. Edition limited to 150 copies, the most limited of all the Vale Press books. Usual slight browning to free end-papers, binding very slightly soiled o/w a very good clean and tight copy.The wood blocks for the 5 Sturge Moore engravings were destroyed in a fire at the binders shortly after printing the edition.

Designed and printed by Edward Burret at the Penmiel Press. No.32 of a limited edition of 60 copies signed by the author, illustrator and designer. A further presentation inscription by the designer Edward Burret on the front free end-paper to Barbara Sants in ink dated 12 November 84. Overall size c.11. x 6.3/4 inches (28 x 17 cm.) 32 pps. plus Frontis and 16 full page illustrations on variously coloured sheets of Japanese Shirokiya paper by Clarke Hutton. A fine copy.

Engraved and printed at the Camden Press by the brothers Dalziel. 35 full page wood-engravings by A.B.Houghton illustrating poems by various authors. Inscription in ink on front free end paper dated 1879. Occasional blotchy foxing to some pages but much less so than usual. Superb 19th century full morocco binding signed 'Riviere' with gilt decorations on covers and raised bands on the spine and gilt lined edges all round. a.e.g. A lovely copy of an essential 1860's gift book.

A limited edition of 990 copies, this number 60 of 90 copies printed on Old Stratford paper. Overall size c. 11.3/8 x 9. inches c.29 x 23 cm. Full and half page illustrations by Heinrich Kley. First gathering of pages 1 to 16 on slightly darker stock (same in all copies?) A near fine copy signed 'H.Kley Munchen' in pencil on the front free e.p. Text in German.

Published and printed by the Dropmore Press on Hodgkinson hand-made paper being number 17 of only 25 deluxe copies of a total edition of 550. Specially bound by Evans of Croydon in natural half vellum and signed by the author. Illustrated with wood-engravings by John O'Connor, mainly full page hors texte. A mostly un-opened near fine copy. Book-plate of W.& P.J.Kupfer engraved by George Buday on front fixed end paper.

As published in the tissue covered wrappers featuring a coloured lithograph by the artist enclosed in a the folder and slipcase. Overall size c. 29.5 x 23.5 cm. c.11.3/4 x 9.1/4 inches. From a total edition of 273 copies, this number X1V of 50 hors- commerce printed on velin d' Arches. Odd scattered blotches o/w a near fine copy with lovely coloured lithographs.

Rare special edition printed on jap vellum and limited to 25 copies (no. XXI )signed by the illustrator and translator of an edition of 350 copies.Overall size c.10. x 6.5/8 inches c.25.5 cm. x 17.cm. Bottom of spine bumped o/w very good with contents fine. Books signed by the artist Ephrahim Moses Lilien are scarce.

Volume 1 complete in 4 issues. July 1917 -June 1918. Original wrappers with title and an illustration by Charles Ginner on upper covers. Illustrated by various artists including:- Lucien Pissarro, Walter Sickert, E. McKnight-Kauffer, Paul Nash, Gaudier-Brzeska, J.D.Fergusson, C.R.W.Nevinson, S.J.Pepleo and Nina Hamnett among others. Poems and literature by Herbert Read, Charles Marriott, Laurence Binyon, R.Holbrook-Keen, Geoffrey Whitworth, H.Austin Petch and Vivien Flanders among others. Wrappers slightly soiled and staples rusted o.w in good condition and complete. Very scarce first four separate issues.

Illustrated by Pierre Falke with full and half page pochoir plates. Half leather with the original wrappers bound in. Number 45 of 50 copies on Holland with an extra suite of illustrations on chine, slight foxing to some pages of the extra suite. Text in French: 283 pages plus suite.A very nice copy in a contemporary binding, spine slightly faded with minimal rubbing to edges.

Fine signed binding by Alain Lobstein in slip case matching the end-papers. Number 1 of 20 copies on japon printed in red and black with a double suite of the etchings printed on Japon and Hollande. Text in French. 90 pages plus suites. Spine very slightly darkened. Fine copy.

Full page coloured lithographs by Rojan and text by Y.Lacote. A very good copy of the first edition with the loosely inserted fold-out calendar which is often missing. Overall size c.170 x 185 mm. Scarce thus.
