Lovely vintage bookplate on fep has Robin Hood, Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio and others near and open book on a bookshelf. Owner's name below. Bumped head and heel of spine and worn corners. Pages 242/243 and 246/247 look as if they were not cut by the publisher and were trimmed subsequently, with page 243 and 247 overhanging the other pages slightly. Exterior of each volume shows some bubbling of the binding material as well as abrasion and wear to edges and spines and some mild spine creasing. Slip case is worn away all along the top edges, has bumped corners, and is split along the top rear. Overall, solid, clean copies showing some signs of wear. Interiors beautiful! There is one name written in blue ink pen on the second cover page , otherwise, there's no other writing, crayon, cuts, or stamps within.
