About this book
The Scarlatti Inheritance is the first of 25 novels written
by American author Robert Ludlum. The political thriller involves espionage and
international secrets, two themes that Ludlum favored in later novels as well,
such as The Bourne Identity (1980). Many of Ludlum’s novels have been made into
films and mini-series. However, The Scarlatti Inheritance was never made into a
film, despite the fact the rights were sold and scripts were worked on.
