Reader reviews for Border Wolves: A Western Trio

From the publisher

This is a collection of three of Coburn's finest short novels, two of which have been made into motion pictures. In them, "The Cowboy Author" captures the West as it was. The title story is set in the years after the Great War along the border with Mexico and depicts the struggle with smuggling and whiskey. Drawing on his own experience as part of Pancho Villa's so-called "Gringo Battalion," Coburn paints border strife as vividly and memorably as it was at the time.
