About the author

Margaret Beecher has spent many years developing and implementing differentiated curriculum designed to meet the needs of all children in the regular classroom. She has taught at all grade levels and has worked as a teacher and program director in the areas of reading and gifted. Her work with curriculum has been extensive, writing curricular models for the Connecticut State Department of Education. She has worked in many different positions, specializing in curriculum design and implementation.
