Mary Beth Lind is a dietitian and nutritional consultant. She and her husband are market gardeners in West Virginia. They are also the founders of Mountain Retreat, a Christian retreat center.

Cathleen Hockman-Wert is a journalist and avid farmers market shopper in Corvallis, Oregon. She and her husband discovered early on the many ways in which their lifestyle choices affect God's creation and other people.
