About the author

Ted Grimsrud, Ph.D., is currently the Associate Professor of Theology and Peace Studies at Eastern Mennonite University, Harrison, Virginia. He received his Ph.D. from the Graduate Theological Union in Christian Ethics, an M.A. from the Biblical Seminary in Peace Studies & a B.S in Journalism from the University of Oregon. He is an ordained minister in the Mennonite Church USA. Ted has been at EMU since 1996 and before that pastored for ten years in Oregon, Arizona, and South Dakota. His other books include, Let Peace and Justice Embrace: Power and Theopolitics in the Bible and God's Healing Strategy: An Introduction to the Main Themes of the Bible.
