If you can spare the time to drive sixty miles into the backwoods of eastern Pennsylvania, crouch down in a bed of poison ivy, and peer through the sumacs, you will be rewarded by an interesting sight. About the author

S.J. Perelman wrote countless classic books of humor, including Westward Ha! and The Road to Miltown. In addition to his books, S.J. Perelman co-wrote the scripts for the Marx Brothers films Monkey Business and Horse Feathers as well as the Academy Award-winning screenplay for Around the World in Eighty Days. He died in 1979.
