Good. - Quarto [approximately 12-1/4 inches high by 9-1/4 inches wide], dark brown cloth titled in gilt between raised bands on the spine with decorative frames in blind on both covers. The binding is rubbed & bumped with a small stain & a score mark to the rear cover. The titling on the spine is faded and the head & tail are lightly chipped. 343 & [7] pages plus ads. Profuse black-and-white illustrations. The edges are lightly foxed & there is occasional light soiling. An owner's ink name & quotation appear on the flyleaf. The book is somewhat cocked. Good. <p>A number of students' signatures with quotations are penned on the "Autographs" pages in the rear.
