London: for Thomas Williams, 1674, 1674. 1 vol., small folio, 11-7/8" x 8", (xvii)322pp(x), complete including the engraved frontis portrait plate of Bacon. Bound in contemporary full speckled calf over cords, rebacked at some earlier date, gilt lettered brown morocco spine label, inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spine fine, minor damp stain to upper corner of the first 4 leaves otherwise internally clean and bright, a VERY GOOD copy.
