A later printing of this work, originally published in 1906. Containing a series of numerous magic tricks, with explanations from the principles of natural magic and billiard-ball tricks, vanishing tricks, coin tricks, and more. Richly illustrated in black and white. C. Lang Neil was an author, literary agent, and publisher; although not a performer himself, he was married to magician Madame Patrice, student of Charles Bertram. Explanations of tricks by T. Nelson Downs, H. de Manche, Charles Bertram and others. In the original publisher's printed boards, re backed with cloth spine. Externally sound with minor shelf wear, rubbed to boards. Hinges reinforced with tape. Internally, binding lightly tender, holding. Pages generally bright and clean with occasional marginal pencil annotation by previous owner. Good
