Philadelphia: Weik & Weik, 1860. A beautiful and rare print of two birds of paradise on a tree branch. The album consists of 25 hand-coloured lithographed plates. The bird species are grouped by continent. There are five plates of Australian birds. The National Library of Australia holds a copy, but there are no other recorded holdings in Australia. 10 x 14", beautiful condition.
