Complete with two volumes in the original publisher's uniform bindings. Account of the life and work of the Poet Laureate during the reign of Queen Victoria. With accounts of his childhood, home life, work, and later years. Illustrated with thirteen plates to volume I, and eleven to volume II, including frontispieces. In the original publisher's full cloth bindings. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities. Richard Domenichetti's bookplate to front pastedowns. Frontispiece vol. I loose but present. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to fore edge, affecting tissue guard to frontispiece, pages otherwise bright and clean. With twenty-four illustrations. Collated, complete. Very Good
