Illustrated by Millard Sheets and SIGNED by the artist on the colophon page 127p., ill., 23 cm. Signed by illustrator with an introduction by J.C. Furnas and illustrations by Millard Sheets. Los Angeles: The Limited Editions Club, 1956. #1388 of 1, 500 numbered copies printed by the noted Southern California publisher Ward Ritchie and signed by the artist. Sheets was a prominent Southern California landscape artist and muralist, who became one of his era's leading watercolorists while also proving equally adept with oils, acrylics, tapestries, and mosaics.
