Woodcut title at head of first page. Contains lyrics to 59 songs, without music. These include many popular songs of the time, some written for the Singer's Library, such as There is Somebody Waiting for Me by C.H. Lane, as well as some older songs. Final 3 pages, including back wrapper, lists contents of nos. 1-22 of Beadle's Half-Dime Singer's Library, and titles of nos. 1-66 of Beadle's Half-Dime Library and nos. 1-55 of Beadle's Dime Library. Beadle's Half-Dime Singer's Library appeared approximately weekly from 18 May 1878 and 29 March 1879, ending with No. 43. In later reprints the illustration was left uncolored. Scarce. In Very Good- Condition: first leaf detached, but present; small stain on first leaf; corner at head of gutter trimmed without loss of text; clean and bright.
