This signed, first edition of author and actor C.C. Humphrey's 'Blood Ties' further explores the adventures of Jean Rombaud, the executioner of Anne Boleyn, as he is forced into a battle for the deceased former queen's six fingered hand against his own son, with 'Blood Ties' continues the story from the author's novel 'The French Executioner'. C.C. Humphrey is perhaps as well known for his acting roles in 'The Bill', 'Highlander', and 'A.D.' as for his historical fiction. First edition, signed, lined and dated '20/2/03' by the author to the title page. In unclipped dustwrapper. A thrilling epic, Humphrey's 'Blood Ties' tells of a bloody reckoning in witchcraft and fanaticism. In the publisher's original binding with unclipped dustwrapper showing £17.99 price. Externally, very smart, with only very minor shelf wear to the tail of the spine. The dustwrapper is in excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with only some minor age-toning. Near Fine
