[essentially an as-new book, with no discernible wear but with a previous owner's name plus date & place of purchase written in ink along the edge of the rear pastedown (concealed beneath the rear jacket flap); the jacket is flawless]. The first published collection of detective tales featuring Lucius Leffing, "private detective and psychic investigator," which originally appeared primarily in various mystery magazines beginning with the character's introduction in 1963. This volume contains all sixteen previously-published Leffing stories, plus one new adventure printed here for the first time. "A veritable feast for detective-story addicts, as well as for all aficionados of the bizarrer, the macabre and the mysterious." .
