London: The Bookman, 1929. Soft cover. Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Edmund Dulac. This is the Christmas 1929 portfolio of four illustrations by Edmund Dulac illustrating poems by Edgar Allan Poe. The printed card wraps, with an illustration tipped in on top wrap, are in good condition exhibiting foxing with some repaired minor closed tears. The four plates, each 14 X 19cm, and in fine condition, are tipped in on bifolio sheets 21 X 33cm preceded by the text of four poems: The Bells (with headpiece); Eldorado; Sonnet - Silence and Fairy-Land. The text pages are very good but with some darkening to the margins .
