Red cloth boards with gilt titles on spine. 189pp with 10 black and white illustrations by Brock in the text. With a brief biography of Dickens and Thoughts and Questions on the story itself, helpful for putting some of it context, explaining some of the older language / sayings. Also, Dickens and Drama plus The Tale of Valentine and Orson and book adverts for the rest of the series. Previous owners name and school handwritten on front pastedown and endpaper. Very good and clean inside, a nice little edition of this well known Christmas story.
