London: Hamish Hamilton, 1966. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/Fair. First Impression. In the publisher's green cloth with yellow top edge, the colour of which has faded a little but still visible. The book is square and fairly tight, the corners and spine tips in good order. Free from owner names etc, a VG copy. The dustjacket is unclipped with price of 25s. net. Shelf-worn along all edges and at the corners with minor chips there. Browned at the spine. A Fair to Good condition example of the First Impression jacket but certainly no oil painting. Surprisingly scarce in the UK edition.

Synopsis

In Cold Blood is a nonfiction book by American author Truman Capote. The book details the brutal 1959 murders of Herbert Clutter, a wealthy farmer from Holcomb, Kansas, and his wife and two of their children. When Capote learned of the quadruple murder before the killers were captured, he decided to travel to Kansas and write about the crime.
