Keble Martin's book is the most accurate and colorful volume of British Flora ( & British wildflowers) published with 1486 illustrated species. Edition and printing not known. In near fine plus green cloth boards with gilt titles to spine. The boards are very tight, straight and clean. spine and edges strong; very slight wear to spine ends. Very white and unmarked end papers and cut edges. The text block is in fine condition, with very flat, firm and clean pages, beautifully illustrated by the author. No dedications etc. Excellent for age. Inside near fine pictorial dust jacket, brightly illustrated with colourful wild flowers. The jacket is very clean, very slight wear to spine ends. Not price clipped. Heavy. Please contact us for cost of postage if shipping outside the UK.

About Clevedon Community Bookshop

Clevedon Community Bookshop, co-operatively owned, opened on 31 December 2011 and now has a general stock of approximately 20,000 books. Our bookshop in Copse Road is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11.00am to 4.00pm. The co-operative comprises just over 600 members from around the world and was set up to stop the only second-hand bookshop in our town from closing. The benefit of being a member/shareholder is only social: no-one benefits financially. All profits are used to improve the bookshop and its stock, and, through events, to contribute to the literacy and literary profile of our town. The Bookshop Manager has fifteen years' experience in second-hand bookselling. Email us if you would like to join our co-operative and thus jointly own our bookshop with us.
