Hallesby, translated from the original Norwegian. The first edition of this work by O. Hallesby translated from the Norwegian by C.J. Carlsen. A study on conscience, in relation to God and religion. With unclipped dustwrapper. In the original publisher's green cloth binding, with titles stamped in gilt to spine. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear and slight bumping to head and tail of spine. Inscribed by a previous owner to front free endpaper. Cloth and gilt to spine has slightly darkened. Dustwrapper is unclipped and smart, with slight chipping to head and tail of spine and minor closed tears. Minor scuff marks to spine to wrapper, which is also slightly sunned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
