London: The Studio, 1902. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Corot Millet. The work of these two artists with reproductions and accompanying brief essays. Presentation inscription on ffep from a member of the Newlyn school of artists - Elizabeth Adela Forbes. She was Canadian and the wife of Stanhope Forbes with whom she set up the Forbes school of painting in Newlyn in 1899. The inscription reads "Lionel Birch with Xmas Greetings from EAF". Lionel Birch was an artist who was working in the area at that time. Very good half bound in slightly soiled vellum binding.
