On Oct. 1, 1871, Darwin W. Esmond and Hannah Caitiaine Esmond, of Newburgh, Orange County, N.Y., mortgage to Timothy J. Seymour, of the same place, for $500 a lot marked as no. 556 on the map of the lands of Jonathan Hasbrouck in Newburgh. Signed by Darwin W. Esmond and Hannah Caitiaine Esmond, witness H. Buchanan, and notary public Jno. C. Noe. Darwin W. Esmond (1845-1923) was an attorney in Newburgh, N.Y. In Very Good+ Condition: light folds; discoloration inside from the stamp on the first page; otherwise, clean and crisp.
