George H. Doran, 1927. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good in Good DJ. First printing, very good blue cloth hardcover shows light rubbing at edges and touch of bumping to bottom corners, touch of soil to covers and top page edges, very faint staining at upper portion of rear cover, previous owner bookplate at front pastedown and some other very light trace wear, in very good - dust jacket (price at flap) that shows rubbing, some exposure darkening along spine, fore edges and top edge of rear panel, small bit of staining at bottom corner of front panel, edge wear (piece of scotch tape at reverse) that includes short closed tears and shallow open chipping at bottom corner of rear panel but mainly along top edge of front panel where it is half inch deep by inch wide at deepest and cuts out better portion of D at beginning of title, along with 1/4 inch deep chipping at spine head that cuts into portion of first line of title as well. 320 pages with index and illustrations. Still a pleasing copy in the hard to find dust jacket of this visit to the Montmartre corner of post WWI Paris.
