Dallas, Texas: Dockery House Publishing. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. A history of Kilgore, TX, home of the Richest Acre Park in downtown which once had the densest population of oil wells in the world. 312 pp. Oversize format, 8-3/4"W X 11-1/4"H. Brown boards with bright gilt print on front and spine. Slight right lean to book and corners have minor bumping. Pictorial end papers show photo of oil derricks as far as the eye can see, depicting Kilgore in the 30's, 40's and 50's. Front free end paper has previous owner's note in large handwriting with her name. No date on copyright page, but previous owner dated her note May 27, 2008. Dust jacket has gold background which is bright on front panel but shows rubbing on rear panel. Top edge of front has 1" closed tear which had been tape-repaired, and spine ends have some chipping/fraying. Flap folds have a little creasing and rubbing. Now in protective cover.
