About This Item

London: Andre Deutsch, 1973. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. First Printing of the First UK edition. A Near Fine copy of a scarce title. Pushed a little at both ends of the backstrip but a bright, reasonably fresh copy with fairly sharp corners. Free from previous owner names or markings etc. The dustjacket is unclipped (with price of £2.50 net). Very slightly colour-faded at the spine, a normal occurrence with this jacket. No nicks, tears, splits and overall, a nice, Near Fine jacket.

Synopsis

End Zone is the title of Don DeLillo's second novel published in 1972. It is a light-hearted farce that preshadows much of his later, more mature work. Set at small Logos College in West Texas, End Zone is narrated by Gary Harkness, a blocking back on the American football team during that school's first integrated season.
