About This Item

London: Hodgson, Boys and Graves, 1835. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Elephant Folio - over 15 - 23" tall. Henry Liverseege. A folio containing examples of the work of the artist Henry Liverseege. Containing 35 of the 37 plates called for. This copy is lacking Captain Macheath and My Ladys Page both of which appear never to have been bound in despite the binding title calling for 37 plates. Generally very good half bound in marked and scuffed contemporary boards with marbelled endpapers. Some foxing in places. A.E.G. All plates protected by blank interleaving.
