Tall double pocket folder which holds the information packet from the 1957 annual meeting of shareholders of Matson Navigation Company for the SS Mariposa, for a special event held at Pier 35, San Francisco. The meeting inspection was held on March 21, 1957 and includes tours of the Promenade deck, boat deck, bridge deck, upper deck, main deck, and on "A" deck. Packet includes a schedule of the meeting times, the pamphlet explain how the passenger liners Mariposa and Monterey are the first two ships equipped with the Sperry Gyrofin Stabilizers, also known as Anti-Roll. In addition, there is also a four-page document explaining the history and features of the SS Mariposa and SS Monterey.
